"Numismatics is the Hobby of Kings" is an old saying, but has it ever been attributed as a quote to anyone in particular? Of course, numismatic bibliophiles are aware of the Aaron Feldman "Buy the book before the coin" quote. But other than these two, my feeble brain was having trouble thinking of more numismatic quotes. A web search turned up these: "Coin collecting is the only hobby where you can spend all your money and still have some left."
