Found this AWESOME Flip over double struck off center 1943 Lincoln Cent.It looks all most to perfect to be true but it does look real. Can I get some input on the authenticity and opinions before I throw my hat in the ring. Thanks
If I'm correct it's one planchet. The reverse and the obverse side. It's almost to perfect. what would you call it. Flip over double struck, Both strikes off center by the exact same margin. What are the odds
I have a bad feeling about this piece. Surfaces look odd, it's on a blank not a planchet, The coincidence of the placement of the two strikes is a long shot. I don't know, it just doesn't feel right.
It kind of looks to good to be true...and the odds..through the roof. Not that many sales under his belt mind you we all start somewhere. I'm sure I would avoid it and purchase off someone with a good error reputation instead. Like Coop says how come not graded?
