What can y'all tell me about this dime I found in my change bag? It's in pretty rough shape... Grade?

Grade is "ungradeable" and worth it's silver melt value. Approximately $1.50 today.

As much as I don't condone melting of coins.
I just might change my opinion.

to CCF! And for a common date like this in such a bad condition I wouldn't even pick it up from as scrap bin. Pretty much melt value here.

hey its worth a shot, right? and its certainly the most believable "find" I've read on this forum in recent weeks. I'm waiting for a 1792 Half Dsime to show up in someone's Wheat cent roll at the rate things are going.

Perhaps it may be worth slabbing, to find out how low it could go.
Rarity is important.
There would not be too many slabs out there, where the coin contained therein is rated at zero.

As such, the combination could well have some collector value above the silver value.
