wildwings New Member United States 33 Posts	Posted 03/13/2014 3:10 pm This was my fear due to the fact the head and lettering are backwards. I just didn't know if 2 coins could indent into each other or if they would just go smooth. :( Report this Post to the Staff
coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 03/13/2014 4:07 pm The dead give away is that the rims cut into the sandwiched coin. If it were a double strike, the rim would not appear making the groove in the coin. You see the edge of the die making a mark on the second strike. Not the rim formed making an indent into the coin.
