Not meant for circulation, so I doubt these will show up in any coin rolls (but, ya never know).

OK.

I know I'm preaching to the choir about mainstream media ignorance but did anyone read that link?

"The $5, $1 and half-dollar coins, PLATED with gold, silver and alloy, are in production at the San Francisco U.S. Mint and will be sold online starting on March 27, agency spokesman Michael White said."

Are all 3 coins going to be curved or just the silver dollar?

All three are to be curved. Originally only the dollar and $5 were but they later decided to curve the half as well.

As to the plated quote in the link, that was presented as a direct quote, and then almost immediately afterward the article correctly states they would be gold and silver alloy. Is it possible Michael White mis-spoke?(Not likely) Or that they plan to pull a fast one on us and actually sell us plated coins? (More likely, but At this point I doubt it.)
