Scanned pics in 2x2: Proof? PL? SP? Is there a mintage for this strike? Or it is not important? It's all hair-lined up. Worth any more than melt? Thanks.

Thanks dollarman. It does have a very strong contrast between the frost and the mirror-like field. It looked way shinier than the other 1967 dollars in the same bin. That's why I picked it up. The 1967 dollar and half dollar are one of my favorite designs.

Technically Canada couldn't strike proofs back than so specimen is the proper term although american TPGs call them proofs.

I have always liked this set. Nice cameo. Always nice to have a choice as you have the opportunity to compare examples.

Thanks guys. Now I am very glad I've rescued it from being damaged more in loose. Given the readily available amount of 1967 dollars, I just don't see one like this everyday.
