Here is the lamination error that I've tried to post before. Can anyone tell me if this lamination add or subtract from the value?

I hope this pic come up better then the last one.

Thanks

To be truthful, I can't even make out the date clearly. Too fuzzy for My eyes. Sorry.

What does the reverse look like? If it looks normal, it could be a struck through error. If the reverse is bent, it might be coin damage. But from what I can see, I'm thinking a struck through error.

I've moved this to a better-suited location.

Sure looks like a strikethrough to me - I can't see NGC slabbing the coin with postmint damage. On the other hand, I'm amazed the Mint let this one out of the building. One would expect higher standards for a Proof issue.

What's NGC calling it on the label?

Edit to add: Generally speaking, this should substantially detract from the value of a Proof. However, the sheer fact that the Mint allowed it out the door - I don't think I've ever seen a Proof this heavily-impaired in the wild before - would make it a value-added proposition for the right collector of errors.

Here is the reverse. It also appears to have a slight rotation.

Here another pic of the obverse. I think they are talking about around the edge above the "A" it appears to have a piece missing. Also with a loupe you are able to see a line that goes between the "A & M" that run through the bow.

Here is the front of the slap.

Beautiful error! A noted error by a TPG will always add some premium. The unhelpful part is that premium could be a cent to who knows? Like the cliche says, a coin is worth what someone will pay for it. Have you ever seen the insane prices realized on Heritage? Never mind ebay. Anyway great coin!!
