I believe this is a fake nickel made by Henning by looking at the rims. I have never saw a nickel with rims all banged up.
Look how some parts are incomplete. Also the in UNUM, the you and N on the left have one dot on each of them.

It can be PMD but why only on the rim and not the front?
On the back, bottom right part of the rim, it's a Little thicker.

The hair is a little light and so is the Monticello.

It's 4.9 Grams

The weight is not surprising, considering the wear. Wasted rims are not indicative of a Henning. A pouros (SP)
surface would be more to get excited about.
Rest in Peace

Sorry but it isn't a Henning. As fioti mentioned, the surfaces are not pourous, also the rims and letters are too sharp. The dots on the you and M on UNUM are part of the damage. The dots I see on Hennings are on the fields inside the letters not on top of them.

...not a Henning, but a rather beat up 1946 circulation strike Jefferson.

Keep on hunting!

Definitely not a Henning nickel. Damage is post mint and looks like something you'd find in a 7/11 parking lot.
