NGC apparently slabbed this "dime in MS 63" in a rather innovative slab. I have never seen a "2x2 coin flip" slab before. Here is the link: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1945-D-Merc...em19e815b456

It looks like an honest mistake with someone forgetting to remove things after hitting "sell similar item"...

"How many defects could there be with NGC grading it a MS 66."

I get the photo mistake but now the description and the seller's notes don't even match?!

I think the seller is just totally clueless.

From one auction seller notes and item description.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/1956-Philad...a7c#viTabs_0

"These coins were a part of my dad's coin and stamp collection. They are graded by NGC. The 1956 1C is graded by NGC as a PF 67 RD, The 5C Jefferson nickel is graded by NGC as a PF 67. The Roosevelt dime is given by NGC a PF 66. The Washington 25C is graded by NGC as a PF 66. The 50C 1956 Franklin Type 2, is given by NGC a PF 67 Cameo. I will tell you now that I could not be happier with NGC."

These coins are from my dad's coin and stamp collection. I had gotten them from my mom when she died in 2008 at age ninety-six. She never even looked at the coin and stamp collection because she did not need the money. She got his retirement which was 85% of what he made as a State District Judge. He was making about $100,000.00 a year in 1980. All of her bills were already paid all she needed to have to live on was her normal living expenses. I was living in Ft. Worth at the time and only moved back to Bowie, TX because I retired in 2008 to become the President of the International Shrine Clown Association. My boss at the time was a Shriner also and he supported my every desire. We had about 5,000 member in the United States, Canada and Mexico. I decided when I moved to Bowie that I would see what I could do on ebay. Please keep me in your thoughts and prayers as I learn the ins and outs of ebay.

What in the ?

I've seen worse listings up on ebay. Fortunately these sellers tend to just waste their own time in most cases.

It's just a screw up by the seller...I agree he/she used a previous auction template but forgot to change a few things
