Thoughts from the CCF?

Two 1909 LWC, the first one is in much better shape, the second one was in one of those old blue albums, not sure what happened to the back.

1909 is between a VG8 (obverse) and F12 (reverse) for me. The photo is a little fuzzy.

The VDB has too much damage although it looks like the details were pretty strong yet. Sorry that it was taken by the blue folder.

The coin is cleaned. Just look at the uneven color.
Grading is F12.

I didn't clean it so if it was cleaned it was back around 1994 when my grandmother had them.

I was surprised how bad the coins in the blue folders came out. Most were not in good shape

1909 - F12
1909vdb - VGHolycowthatisonehurtinLincoln - I can't fathom how a blue folder could do that... thoughts? Maybe it was like that pre-foldering?
