Does anybody think the mark at 1 o'clock will give it the dreaded uncirculated details from PCGS? I examined it close and it doesn't appear to be a scratch. It is on the surface.

Doubt it. It doesn't seem to be a problem with the metal of the coin, nor is it very prominent. Maybe, though.

I believe it to be cleaned and recolored and that will give it details. The pics could be better but that's what it looks like to me.

That line in itself wouldn't be enough for a details grade, but I agree with Raymond that from the pics it does appear to be a details coin for other reasons.

Can you get some pics without so much glare

Pre strike planchet blemish. (alloy mixing problem)
Dunno if PCGS will give a 'details' under this circumstance.

Copper coins with planchet flaws often receive details grades.

I dont see a details there at all. I do not see a clean and re tone there myself. But, as mentioned, the glare in the pics make it hard to say anything with confidence.

The yellowish tone looks like some of the cleaned Indian culls I have. That being said, it could just be a reflection on the coin.

I'll try to get more photos, but I suck at taking pictures of shiny coins. Any suggestions.

Don't use a flash. Let the light provide it instead of the camera. Sometimes just taking it outside with sunlight is the easiest

I don't see any mint luster.
Could be two reasons for this:
1. Lightly cleaned some time ago (would get 'details')
2. Patination far enough advanced to completely mask mint luster (would NOT get 'details')

Coin seems to be bright enough for me to lean more to the first reason, and now looks to be slowly re patinating.

Still an attractive coin.
