PCGS-To-Display-At-ANAProfessional Coin Grading Service will display the PCGS Set RegistrySM sets of circulation strike and proof Buffalo nickels at the American Numismatic Association World's Fair of Money convention in Milwaukee, Wis., Aug. 8-12.

The sets consist of 16 coins that are the finest ever submitted for certification. They include the 1913-S Type One (PCGS MS-68) and 1920-S (PCGS MS66).

Produced for circulation from 1913 to 1938, Buffalo nickels were designed by acclaimed sculptor James Earle Fraser. Collectors also describe them as Indian Head nickels.

"These are from the collection of Gerald Forsythe. The weighted grade point average of the basic set of circulation strikes is an amazing 66.50, and the average for the proof Buffalo nickels is 68," said B.J. Searls, PCGS set registry manager.

Forsythe's Buffalo nickel collection was inducted into the PCGS Hall of Fame in 2005. It won the Best Classic Set Award for the circulation strikes in 2005 and 2006, and the proof coins won Best Classic Set Awards in 2004, 2005 and 2006.

In addition to viewing the display in person, visitors to the PCGS booth at the ANA convention can receive a free, illustrated brochure about the collection.

The PCGS Set Registry program was established in 2001. The registry has categories for every major U.S. coin series in addition to British, Canadian, Euro, German, Philippines and Japanese coins.
