Here are the most bills of my National Currency Charter Note collection.
I love them all and I want much more of them...

Nice collection. Being from MN, I really like the Duluth note. We have a few collectors around here that really go wild for the small towns around me. There is a local dealer who specializes in them and has quite an inventory.

Thanks for sharing.

Really like the Greensboro and Lynchburg notes, but that's partly because I'm close to both places. Very nice collection!

this is a very nice collection.

There are tons of banks to collect. Do you have Don C. Kelly's book National Bank Notes? I have the 6th Edition which came out in 2008. It also has a CD census that comes along with it.

Really solid collection, I especially like the 1882 Brown Back from Philly. Whats great about Philly notes is that since they made a lot more of them its easier to find deals on certain banks if you look hard enough for long enough. Keep up the great work!

@all
Thank you.
Don Kelly book is still missing but I have to buy it.
Unfortunately, the book is not to get in Europe.
So far, I buy by feel and with the help of Heritage Auctions.
If National Charter Bills appear in Europe I always try to get them.
It is not easy to get good Nationals for fair prices from the USA to Europe.
I like all American banknotes but the Nationals are the most interesting bills.
Leigh,Nebraska bills, how many of them are still alive?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leigh,_Nebraska
The $ 20 bill Dover, Delaware was never been offered at Heritage Auctions.
I know that most of my National Currency bills are common, but they are mostly harder to find than the famous chiefs and the bison. National Currency bills can teach U.S. history, development and the change through industrialization.
If one is preoccupied with the places on the bills, they talk about the changing times.
They talk about the cultural impact on the United States by Germans, Irish people, Scots and Italians.
They are so interesting.
And because I'm interest for any place, any bank and any State where I get Charter Nationals from, I have to get any information in English. So I have a chance for a better English one day.
( Sorry fo my bad English! )
Our hobby is great.

The census CD that came with my book shows:

Leigh, Nebraska has 10 large & 30 small notes reported; the serial # on your note wasn't listed

Your 1882 Brownback from Philadelphia was one of 8 $10 bills listed.

The census for your Dover note lists 3 large, 36 small. The serial # for your note wasn't listed.

Millville 27 large (14 of those were 1902 Plain Backs); your serial number wasn't listed.

Bank of Italy $50-- 25 large Plain Backs listed the serial # on your note wasn't among them.

Yes, you have some common notes but you also have some that are scarce.

Have you contacted Don Kelly to see if he would ship to Germany? He accepts major credit cards, so I don't see why it would be a problem. His website just says $75, shipping included. Of course it would be more to Europe.

If you haven't done so already, contact him.
