Quote: No one else? I might as well do this now... Back on 4/22/2021 I posted: Quote: I had put an Ike in my pocket and then COVID happened. http://goccf.com/t/173203&whichpage=34#3406550It has been in a pocket of my wallet ever since, so it will call it my "wallet pocket" piece. He goes with me when I go out and this what he looks like today. Not much going on. Maybe I will put in more effort.

It's been a while since I've posted an update. I've used my pocket pieces intermittently since COVID, but I've tried to be more consistent over the past year or so. The one unchanging piece is my 1.5" Monuments Men bronze medal, which has toned to a brown color reminiscent of circulated Indian Head cents (a color I could not accurately capture in these photos). Then today I added an impaired proof 2007-S Sacagawea dollar I found in a roll many years ago. The picture below is how it looked yesterday before its pocket journey began.

Love the Monuments Men medal! I take it that you also enjoyed the movie?
Doesn't the impaired proof pick up fingerprints and scratches like crazy?

Quote: Love the Monuments Men medal! I take it that you also enjoyed the movie? I thoroughly enjoyed the book that the movie was based on, but I actually found the movie to be terribly done. It was historically inaccurate, injected too much humor, and really trivialized the incredible work of the real-life Monuments Men. But I highly recommend the book!Quote: Doesn't the impaired proof pick up fingerprints and scratches like crazy? It probably will, but I figured if it's already impaired, I might as well see how much more impaired it can get.
