I have looked all over the internet trying to ID this coin and am stumped. I would very much appreciate your help. I have not seen the coin....only what a lady has told me. She said it says "reina de las espanas" on one side and "isabel 2 por la g de dios y la const" with a date of 1867 on the other. I assume this to be a Spanish coin, but that is all I know. It is part of jewelry. There are 4 coins per earring and they are either gold or the whole earring was gold plated. And I don't know if the coins are real. But can you give me an idea of what these might be worth? I could remove the gold plating but guess the coin would be worthless afterward. Also, does anyone know if it is a copper, a silver, or a gold coin, or some type of alloy? Thank you. WOuld greatly appreciate any help.

I would need to know what is under "reina de las espanas"

There are many different coins that fit this description. Look for something like "Centimos De Escudo"

These coins are also copper or gold so if it's gold it will be worth at Least melt value as the jewelry more then likely ruined any numismatic value the coin had.

Pictures would also be very helpful if you could get them.

The fastest is if you can post photos but since you mentioned that it's mounted on a jewellery, it's usually worth about bullion value. However if it is a keydate, your chances might be better but don't count on it.

My only image is attached below.

I will try to find more info. I am mainly trying to find out if the coins are gold, silver, or not. If they are not gold or silver, I would guess that they are not worth much since they have been set in jewelry. I think I can remove the coins from the jewelry and even remove the gold plating (if that is plating and not solid gold). She states the earrings are old (but not antique) screw-on type earrings with real coins. But I dunno. I will ask her more. Thanks.

Best guess...they are reproductions and aren't worth a thing unfortunately.

definitely fake of Queen Isabella, made in the 1930's for commercial purposes.
