In keeping with the recent thread pertaining to Victorian era fifty cent pieces I thought it might be fun and interesting to do a show and tell of Victoria twenty and twenty-five cents. We don't seem to hear a lot about quarters in here in general. Twenty Cents will be easy of course! I wouldn't object if those of you with Newfoundland Twenty Cents wanted to post right along with the regular Canadian series as well. What say the rest of you? Newfoundland OK to include in this thread? Here's a calendar for everyone's reference. I figure what better than to start off than on a Monday, when those of us who are working but on a break look to the Internet to help break up the day. 1858 Twenty Cents - Province of Canada - Monday, March 24 1870 - Tuesday, March 25 1871 & 1871H - Wednesday, March 26 1872H - Thursday, March 27 1874H - Friday, March 28 1875H - Saturday, March 29 1880 - Sunday, March 30 1881H - Monday, March 31 1882H - Tuesday, April 1 1883H - Wednesday, April 2 1885 - Thursday, April 3 1886 - Friday, April 4 1887 - Saturday, April 5 1888 - Sunday, April 6 1889 - Monday, April 7 1890H - Tuesday, April 8 1891 - Wednesday, April 9 1892 - Thursday, April 10 1893 - Friday, April 11 1894 - Saturday, April 12 1899 - Sunday, April 13 1900 - Monday, April 14 1901 - Tuesday, April 15 Thanks in advance to everyone with coins to contribute! Great idea! I will enjoy watching this one! To bad the 20 cents didn't have a longer run although if you include Newfoundland in this, they did.

We should do the Newfoundland in separate thread. Let's give them the respect they deserve, besides there's just too many years where they don't overlap like '73,'76 and '96.

That looks to be about 15cents, so it's okay to start early.

No DBM you are only allowed to post early if you have a 15 cent piece like Zonad's.

Wow! Great piece to jump the gun and start off. That error piece is a real showstopper if I ever saw one. Where the heck did you ever find something like that?

Very nice, justanothercoinsddict.
I like the clean, frosted surfaces and variety. Looks higher than MS-62.
