I found this one today. There are split serifs on the five, so it shouldn't be Mechanical Doubling. But the secondary devices don't have any height to them. So would this be Die Deterioration Doubling?
Thanks for looking.

Looks like it too a hit. On some "5s" in the date there are a notch in that area that is part of the design. But not on this date. 1965

If you look at the top bar of the five there's some doubling. Doesn't look like Machine Doubling. Was that what you were referring to?
BTW coop. I donated for a six month membership. Hope that's enough for the dvd.
Thanks for looking. I'm glad to see that I am learning something. I have you to thank for much of that.

I can't really see what you are talking about, maybe try to rotate the cent some so the lighting is different, this might make it easier for us to see what you are seeing. I see the hit coop talked about and maybe some polishing on the verticle part of the five, just not sure though. My eyes are not that good so let see.

Here is a different picture. Not necessarily better, but different.

There is some doubling where the arrows indicate. At the red arrow, there are two top bars to the five. It doesn't look like Machine Doubling, because you can see the edges (or at least I imagine that I can).

I think green arrow is MD and red arrow looks like Die Deterioration and or die polishing.
This is just my opinion. Thanks
