Found this today. This is just a die gouge on the R in liberty, correct?

Zoom out a little. It might be trails on that area? See if other devices are affected equally?
Here is an image of 2006 cent that had trails on the lower edge of the LIBERTY:

Here are a couple of pics of LIB. The other devices had nothing I could detect. The B looks like it might have something.
Unfortunately my microscope camera does not zoom out more than this. And my shiny new macro camera is virtually useless without the copy stand that will be my next purchase.

Have you checked other devices like the date or other areas that might have been affected? Sometimes other areas are affected. The trails can see tricky to shot you just need the right angle sometimes and others there are so strong you can see them easily.

I've checked them all, both sides, but I don't see anything.
