I still can't believe this one popped out of my cash register, but the coin is the proof.

A girl came in today to buy some cigarettes, had to pay in change (not uncommon the Thursday before payday), but when she dumped the change out of her zip-lock bag, this one instantly caught my eye.

I may have been a bit evil as I didn't say anything to her and instead just counted the change out as if nothing was out of the ordinary, but I kinda wanted that dime!

1911 Barber dime, I'd say VG.

First-Circulating-Barber-Coin!

I just wonder which relative is going to find their dime missing

VG at the VERY best. Lots of wear, but great score nonetheless

looks like it may of been harshly cleaned on the front. lots of scratches on it. a vg 8 maybe 10-details imo. for 10 cents a total score . might this be the start of an affair with Barber dimes? let me warn you, they are addicting.

Dasalo,
GOOD FOR YOU!

Justin,
If it was cleaned the subsequent re-toning came out well.

Sweet find.

My only cash register finds when I had one of those jobs was a Mercury dime and a Buffalo nickel.
