Am hoping someone can tell me some information about this coin and perhaps 2 others.

They are part of my now passed grandfather's collection and I would like to know some of the history about them.

Thanks in advance for any help.

It is a type of coin known as a "cash", from Imperial China. We'd need to see what the other side looked like to be able to tell you which mint it was made at, but from this side we can tell you the emperor: the Jia Qing emperor, who reigned from 1796 to 1820.

Despite being so old, Chinese cash coins from this period are neither rare nor expensive. At the time, China was prosperous, and the mintages were very, very large.
