Is-This-A-Coin-?

Found this amongst other family treasures.

Very interested to know what this is

Size approximately 20mm x 5mm thick

Seems to be made of copper or maybe bronze or similar metals

Any interpretation of heritage shall be sincerely appreciated

I'm not an expert in this area at all, but yes it is a coin. Maybe from an Arabic region. Hopefully an expert will weigh in soon. Good luck and welcome to the forum!

thanks both to jpbone and andyg for an extremely prompt reply. At least now I know that it is a genuine coin.
Since I do not have any weighing facility of my own, shall try to get it done from some jewelry shop and then will revert.
More details on the heritage of this coin shall be sincerely appreciated from people who know.
