Question 1969-D No FG Designer Initials Struck Through Grease

OcalaFlorida Pillar of the Community United States 2824 Posts	Posted 03/31/2014 3:09 pm I got this 1969-D No FG Designer Initials which I assume means it was Struck Through Grease and is not a actual die variation error. I am going to keep it anyway, I am a sucker for any Lincoln Cent out of the norm but to most is even considered a error? Report this Post to the Staff

coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 03/31/2014 3:39 pm Looking at the surrounding areas of the dies devices, they look pretty much polished away from what I can see. The right cross bar has been damaged, but the lower parts of the devices show the die polishing patterns. Report this Post to the Staff
