Quote: 1. Collect all the F12 & F15 PRIVY coins from 2007-2012 ( approximately 20 coins) 2. Start a world coin collection of 20-30 coins.(Based on CCF members collections) 3. Purchase the F15 yearly as long as its available. This is excellent plan revision. As per point #2, decide ahead, which years you want to have in this set (the earliest and latest) - this decision will eliminate the doubts in case, if you will find very nice new or very old item. Piont #1 + #3 - will be nice unusual set. Personally, will be happy to see picture of the F12 (or F15?) 2008 Koala Good luck, Dave!

Thanks Silveroid...I think I'll need it ! I actually think that I will go with year 2012 & possibly 2013. I've been looking over your collection plus rodzm,TIPIT & riceqa and will be picking out my favorite 30 or so and also picking out a few of my own. I think this will be much more enjoyable than collecting the complete F12 & F15 series. I might need a little help sourcing some of the coins such as the Gabon Elephant etc. When I come up with a list I'll post it to see what you think. Take care,Dave

I can help you in finding the Gabon elephants if you need help as well, tho I am sure Mr Silveroid knows where to find these.
I have enjoyed collecting this african ounces series that started out with the Gabon elephant... and now with prices of silver dropping, this is a good time and spot (pun intended lol) to buy this coin!

I really appreciate the offer yup7676 and your right Mr.Silveroid will know.
When I'm ready I'll contact you and maybe you can give me some tips on locating them and some other African coins I have on my wish list.
Really looking forward to getting going but have to slow down a bit after making the big splurge for the gold Steam Boat Willy.

Thanks, Yup, for the feedback. but I am not "Mr", if I understand your nickname, we are same year born. Well, somehow I missed the question. Majority of the foreign bullions I bought from the ebay (just recently CA started to sell the main bullion coins), and here my favourite and trusted seller: http://stores.ebay.ca/bimetalr-Slovenia?_rdc=1his name is Robert, from Slovenia, and this is one of 2 stores that he runs. No issues, sweet shipping charges, great communication. For sure, you can find cheaper, if you will search and follow and check....but purchase from him - trouble free and everything from one place. But need to tell, I never bought more than 3 coins in one order from him. here the example: http://www.ebay.com/itm/GHANA-5-Ced...em338de212d6isn't it a cool coin? The Lion! I already want it. Why it not in my Fab15 collection? due to the year of 2013.....impossible to collect all and include to the 15-coins set. Enjoy!

The lion is not bad at all but I'd consider it as NCLT more than bullion.

I second Yup's "goal-orientation" advice. Every country in the world makes coins. You live in a country. You do not have all of the money generated in that country. You don't even have 1/Xth of it, where X=the number of series your country mints.
My point is, you have to either specialize, or be forever behind, and wanting.

@Sherwood yea that series that Silveroid is talking about, boy,,, once you get one of them,,, you will have to fight the urge to not collect the entire series. I have just about every single coin from this series, the quality has been very consistent in the coins, I love the detail and designs of the animals, I love the antique finish on these coins as well. and again, as prices drop in silver, these coins get impacted a bit, which is good because you can snatch them up for less than they were going for, thus stretching your dollars. I also noticed they have these in I believe 1/8th ounce gold coins as well, at least I have seen the Gabon elephant and lion lol but yea when you are ready and need references and I'll be more than happy to help out as well!

@yup767, I've been trying to stick to my plan...as Silveroid warned me its so easy to get sidetracked, and I'm starting to see what he means. I've had to pull myself back on course a couple times or I would have been all over the place. As I said earlier I'll continue to collect the F12 & F15 Privy coins and I've started to develop a list of about 40 - 2012-2013 coins from around the world that I like and pick out about 20 to 30 to collect. I just ordered a 60 coin 3 tray Volterra box so I have lots of room to expand. I really appreciate your offer to help me out and will certainly take you up on it. Here's my list I've been working on so far : 2012 : 1. *CANADA WILDLIFE MOOSE 2. *CANADA WILDLIFE COUGAR 3 *GABON ELEPHANT 4. *ISLE OF MAN MANX CAT/KITTEN 5. *NEW ZEALAND. MAORI ART 2013 : 6. *ANDORRA EAGLE 7. *ARMENIA NOAH'S ARK 8. *AUSTRALIA SNAKE PRIVY Kookaburra9. *AUSTRALIA STOCK HORSE 10. *AUSTRALIA BANDI 11. *AUSTRALIA KANGAROO ROAD SIGN 12. CANADA. 25TH ANNIVERSARY ML GOLD PLATED 13. *CONGO RHINO 14. *CONGO BABY LION 15. *COOK ISLAND'S BOUNTY 17. *COOK ISLAND'S YOUNG WILDLIFE TIGER PROOF 16. *FIJI. TAKU 17. *GABON SPRINGBOK 18. *GABON. LION ANTIQUE 19. *ISLE OF MAN SIBERIAN CAT PROOF 20. *MEXICO LIBERTAD PROOF 21. *NEW ZEALAND KIWI 22 *SAMOALIA MAP 23. *UK BRITANNIA SNAKE PRIVY ON RIM 24. *USA. OK. Stop and Rethink. A dozen older coins is much better than modern US coins. A nice set of semi keys is the way to go. I am enthralled with older Queen Victoria coins. The US coins offer similar dandy coins. A nice Two Cent, Three Cent, 20 cent would be doable. Add a few Seated Liberty in VF or XF. Your country men and women would be pleased to see them. Just a thought ...

@Sherwooddavid: Without details can say - the choice (list) is good. You will enjoy getting these. But two things have to say: 5. *NEW ZEALAND. MAORI ARTReally can not consider it as bullion or half bullion coin. This numismatic item. But, since I collect the series, I will recommend it. Try to get it from Power Coin Italy Antonello), they good, and will accept reasonable offer (I got it from them) http://www.ebay.com/itm/HEI-MATAU-M...em564a2a2287Together with this, take a look at 2013 edition (Maori Koru - beatiful coin)- IMO, it better than the 2012 Almost the best price here(the dealer is trustful): http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-Dollar-Ma...em4860e1142011. *AUSTRALIA KANGAROO ROAD SIGNI understand, that the theme itself interesting, but the coin totally not bullion. Do you want beautiful, sharp, clear 2013 Australia Kangaroo coin (limited mintage) that commemorates 20 years of Bullion Kangaroos? get this (it overpriced here, year ago I managed to finf for $150): http://www.ebay.com/itm/2013-1-KANG...em2a38f00ff1or just get the 2013 F15 Kangaroo Outback: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-Kangaroo-...em48565e4132enjoy planning and collecting Congrats for the wooden case!

@sherwood Yea no problem, give me a bit here and I'll dig up my ebay list and give you some leads on a few of those coins. I really like the kanga for the 20th anniversary that Silveroid mentioned but I saw one dealer was selling several of them and then in the listing they mentioned that their coins had some "milk spots" which was disappointing to see
