I'm starting to grow tired of these something for something coins... but still I keep buying them. Easy way to keep my "Master's" status, and while some complain about the not really legal tender status, I've had no problem unloading extras for face or above face.
Rest in Peace

sherwooddavid, when I placed my order (with the rep) he indicated another was scheduled for later in the year, and would I like to pre-order through him. So, not officially a subscription, but none the less, a continuation.

Although they're not the greatest quality, the cost/face value of these coins is what I like about them. Nothing beats adding to your collection.

> 100,000 mintage is too too too much.

$20 x 250000 = $5,000,000 (now $4,500,000 with reduced appeal)
$50 x 100000 = $5,000,000
$100 x 50000 = $5,000,000

So, really the same as the other two.

> Remember, these are going to be next to impossible to spend, or even break even on.
> I am expressing fact

The $20 have been clearly been spent many times by various members. So, what FACTS do you have about a coin that hasn't shipped yet that proves it will be "next to impossible to spend"?

I also ordered the first coin but did not see anything about it being a subscription . The finish is nice and it seems to change as you view the coin from different angles ( they have the video on the mint site ) . They have made this years 20 4 20 a subscription which I purchased so that I can have a complete set of the series . I am hoping the mint will make available a box to put this series and the 50 4 50 , maybe something that has a nice 20 4 20 and 50 4 50 inscription on the outside . My favourite in the 20 4 20 series is the Canoe because the design is very shape and I like the reflection of the canoe on the water .
Rest in Peace

That would be nice. Somebody could make an annual 'case' that will hold all of the 2014's (100s, 50s, and 20s) At least then, it wouldn't be open-ended like the 20/4/20 series. At first I thought that set would stop at 6, then 8, now I don't see them stopping it at all. But Limited by years, would be interesting to see the progression.

Mine came from the Mint today - can't complain about slow shipping any more.

These are really well done coins; good design and a well executed matte proof finish.

I received mine in the mail yesterday and I am still sitting on the fence if I will or will not buy others . It would have been an easier decision if the mint would release a box the you could put the 20 , 50 and 100 series in and I must agree with some of the posts about how the mint puts a price on one coin to the next especially when they have the same silver content . Is the mint charging more for coins that have more detail or more work involved to make ( from beginning to end ) ? Also here is a review of the coin from the mints own site . This reviewer brings up something interesting that I did not notice until I took a good look at the bear .

" I have refused to write negative comments in the past because people vary in their visions and things are not ever perfect but! this poor bear just does not look right. it looks like his head is growing out of his left shoulder. please just take a close look at it. perhaps I am wrong but there is just some thing very wrong with this picture. I would have loved to buy this 50/50 but not this one. I apologize to the artist but it just doesn't sit right with my husband or I."

I just got mine in the mail today and although the packaging is rather dissapointing, the coin itself is very nice. I immediately took it out of the plastic packaging and put it in one of my spare clamshells, this coin definitely deserves one if you ask me.

Received my 3 - wish I could order more as my friends want some after seeing mine. Coin is great despite the packaging.
