to the CCF! Unfortunately what you have is not original. Whomever made it used an 1722 reverse but dated it 1724. Still working on an approximate date for you copy.

Yes ... asppears as a doctored numerla change ... Syd Martin had done the book on these Hibernias and Rosa Americanas ... he is the current ANS President ... google Syd Martin ... get E-Mail address ... send photos ... allow 1 week response ... he is busy.
The book is over $100 so use the above method.

HMMM ... must be asleep this morning ... good use of ANS-MANTIS. The 1723's are the most common ... then 1722 generally ... then 1724 as a whole are the most rare ... I would put a $50 reserve ... start it at $9.99. Let E-Bay do its thing ... list of course under US Colonials. Appears as an original VF from your pics.
Only the pre-and post- patterns are rare. Few people collect these by varieties in the central core group of general issue pieces (1722-1724). I had one of the finest collections of Hibernias & Rosas - see Stacks Americana Sale (January, 2008). Good luck ...

Huh? Are you calling this genuine, John? Sure looks like the work of Peter Rosa of Becker Reproductions to me.

I dont know what it is other then what I have learned here from my post. Harp on left of a 1724 is what threw me off about it I have a mint state or maybe proof from the mirrored look but it has a strang stamp very small on leaf I will post itin a lil while.
