I sold an American "scrambled ladder" note recently on ebay - American $20 in AU/Unc sold for $30 to a person in France.

scrambled ladder, so 14325867? something like that? I didnt think that counted, and I have had at least one.

People will buy some special serial numbers... the major serial numbers are solids followed by ladders..... Next would be really low serial numbers.. especially if it's a whole denominational set that has the SAME serial number... Finally radars and last repeaters... The further down the list you go the better the note has to be in to get any premium. For example I really don't care to "buy" radars or repeaters unless they're in Choice UNC condition or better.. and even then I usually will only pay approx $5 bucks over the FV... If you start searching frequently at the banks or even bricking you will eventually pick out a few repeaters and radars...with relative ease.. With respect to grading.. the Charlton guide for paper money covers basic grading practices... if you want an online reference this was the only one I could find that's easy and straight forward. http://www.pmgnotes.com/grading/grading-scale.asphope that helps

I have a $20 polymer, serial low at 931. Good shape. Is that considered low?
Thanks, Steve

Sure can. Can put it up it early evening. It has some very light crinkles, with a very light, partial vertical crease, but no folds. Looks like it was in a wallet for a very short time.

thanks for the link ag coin au here is my radar. too bad 1's arent like L's or it would be a rotator too. there is another fold barely visible in the 1st pic from the d in dix to the second set of braille dots,(actually starts at edge and continues to the bottom of the last a in canada). not in perfect shape, but...

wazzhappening... I would grade that 10 note perhaps as Fine+ to very fine.. looks like there's 3 really good vertical folds that I can see right off the hop plus looking at the directionality of the creases there probably is 1-2 finer creases.. and I'm sure the clear strip has some faint scratches which would merit 1 more demerit point.
