Since I collect Canadian and I live here in the U.S., I have made many fairly valuable purchases from Canada, and it usually takes around a full week and if it's sent registered or expresspost, the USPS doesn't leave it in the mailbox, you have to sign for it or pick it up from the post office... I wouldn't get worked up about the seller not marking it as shipped, there numerous reasons why he may not have marked it as shipped and most of them would have no effect as to you getting your coin...

Thanks, you are right. I'm not worried that he didn't flag it as shipped, he verbally told me in a message that he shipped it, as I mentioned in my previous post. Hopefully, like you say, it will go the PO so I can sign for it.

USPS tracking is accepted by the postal systems of some countries of which Canada is one of them. A coin mailed by first class package from the U.S to Canada will tracked all the way until it's delivered and can be done so for less than $10. So, I am guessing Canada post would have a similar service that has tracking accepted by USPS. Anyways, it seems awfully risky sending a package worth hundreds of dollars without tracking.

You got that right! Either the seller is so inexperienced at how to ship things, and how to use ebay software, and how to communicate with other human beings..........or he didn't ship it at all. I'm hoping it's one of the former. It is what it is, nothing to do but wait at this point. Thanks.
