Does this mintmark appear upside down to anyone else or is it my imagination. Is this even possible? All opinions are appreciated, thanks.

Here are the three styles for 1946-S
1946-S-Mintmark-Question
Note the upper loop with the thin area in the top of the mint mark. That notched area is always up for the correct punching for this ball serif punch with the trumpet tail at the bottom.

Some were struck upside down that year, but I don't think yours is.
