It looks like it is only 2 bidders fighting over 2 coins that are not worth more than face. $60 is just crazy.

Depends on the coin... If it is a interesting example of Machine Doubling on coin..Plus It's ebay ... Machine Doubling on uncirculated coin probably looks very good to the untrained eye. I got a few quote "worthless coins" I like.. It could also just be that example and its 3 coins ...It is interesting... I doubt too many other would get that... Plus one is 2004 D Peace nickel.

I would not buy them for over $5 combined.. but I would not throw the nickel and 1969-s out if I found them roll hunting.

Yeah, the peace nickel is cool. I can't tell you how many of these MD coins I have thrown back. I am starting to wonder if I should be saving them?

I put them in a 2x2 box with the weaker BIE and filled numbers and letters that dont make error albums. It only cost face to keep them...

Hey so what ebay is showing us, if we have cool MD coins someone on ebay would buy them. Crap. What is funny is the title even states Machine Doubling so he is not lying about it.

Well the seller states the 1972 is a DDO...and it is not....The buyer is probably bidding it up imo

I never realized it said DDO in the title until you said that. There is no DDO shown that I can see. The nickel is different but you can tell it is still MD because it takes away part of the devices. That means the auction is being misleading so the price it is selling for is invalid in my opinion.

I was looking on ebay for some lots of errors to put together a set to display at a coin show and club meeting. I don't know why I clicked on the auction, it must have been the $60 price that made me click on the auction. I immediately thought others here would like to discuss this one.

3 Coins for sale 1969 S & 1972 P Lincoln Cent. Machine Doubling on the dates, 2004 D Peace nickle. Machine Doubling on the reverse.

Correct in the description, misleading in the title. It kind of feels like he/she is setting up the case for not accepting them back.

Are they cool? Yes, but that price is silly unless the bidders really do not care about their dollar$. This makes no cents to me.

I like to look to see what other items they are selling. Sometimes they have something there that is collectable and they may not even realize it.

A few people must think that 69-S is the big DDO?
All I see is $.07
