I always try to buy 1 silver dollar, either Peace or Morgan, each day. After about four days, I have an item waiting for me each and every day when I get home from work. I also in addition to my daily purpose, will stop off at the LCS and buy some more silver. On days I don't get any in the mail I just tap the stash I buy from my LCS. One day I walked in and the 10 oz bars that were supposed to be there didn't come in. I was bummed big time, that was until he showed me five 1/10 ozt ducats!!! Funny the money I had set aside for the silver paid for the Gold with a little extra. I really enjoyed that week. Once a month I close out my purchases and transport them to the SDB with a tally written up of what I have bought. I usually keep around 50 ozt around the house in case of emergencies that might pop up where a little more cash is needed. Haven't touched that stash in quite some time. . This past months tally kind of really shocked me, on top of the Gold I had acquired over 200 ozt of junk/generic/ASE/Maple's to transport to the bank. The Ide's of March were differently upon me. Let's see how April does.

That's awesome.. When the stash overflows, times are good.. Nice for a rainy day, although it is April lol, oops.. Best of luck this month! btw I love the idea of buying 1 item a day, that's clever.. I might have to make it 2 items to ensure I get mail everyday lol..

I hope nobody uses this information against you. What you're telling us is kind of personal, don't you think?

Not at all. Can you give me my address I reside at? I have plenty of protection, I am not worried. :)

That is a great idea for keeping the new flow of items moving into the collection. I have been binge buying and I think your plan is a better way to keep from having collecting withdraws!

While certainly not the end of the world, I'd hate to lose a large flat screen. Already happened to me once and the replacement represents a lot of other coins I could otherwise purchase.
@Freedom, if you've been carrying on like this for a while, you must have a pretty decent-sized SDB. Do you ever color up to save space?

When the SDB is about to give me a hernia I grab a bunch and try to turn it into gold. The only problem is that nobody is selling their gold anywhere. You have to get it online. So I meander to the LCS and sell it, deposit and then buy online. The only problem is that I now have a relatively large deposit on record with my bank. That really stinks.

Don't deposit the money all at once. OR I have several accounts at my credit union. I could split such a deposit amoung the different accounts and then online transfer money between accounts as needed to make the purchase.

One Silver Dollar a day? Think about that. 365 Silver Dollars a year. Ten years that is 3,650 plus a few for Leap Years. So what would you do after about 25 years? Where would you keep those?
