Today close to a dozen new members, some of whom stumbled upon the CCF site by chance. I did welcome a few with specific links to topics which may be of interest to them. Other members did as well. Remember that we all were new once. Reach out and welcome.

Me too. But I plod away. Actually it makes you sensitive to new members. And that's a good thing.

I'm not new but like bobalmighty125 said I still feel new. A years worth of lurking and under 200 posts and still feel small looking around at all the knowledge some members have, but happy everyone is willing to take the time to share that knowledge in a friendly manner!

A lot of these new members will most likely be "one post wonders" . John1

John, good point. The "other side of the coin" (sorry, it was just too easy) is that this site is so exciting, diverse and interesting, that very few people will walk away. I wonder if there is a program that could yield those statistics? Thanks

I didn't think I'd still be here either, or that I'd be beyond 50 posts. However the range of topics and depth of knowledge keep me engaged. This is one of my favorite sites, I read several times a day. I've only signed up to 3 forums. This was the first and the one I'm most active on. I wonder how many people are members, does anyone know the numbers? I'd really like to know how many Canadian members there are?

Nice to see so many new members! I counted 7 new introduction threads created yesterday. It is a great sign that CCF will continue to grow and prosper.
Compared to other forums I think that a significant percentage of new members do stick around and post or at least are lurkers absorbing knowledge.

Quote: I'd really like to know how many Canadian members there are? You can go to your "My CCF Forum" page (link at the top of each page) and look up members link, click it - then click on search by country (far right side of the members list page), many don't list a country, but most do, scroll down to find the page Canadian members start listing. The real trouble is there are now 600+ pages so you'll have some counting to do, just figure out how many on each page x how many pages of Canadians, then add in the extra partial pages. I'll leave the hard work to you pocket change 50!
