I am putting together a Power point presentation I will be inserting numerous coin photos into the slides. I have heard that some people find their presentations become inoperable simply because of the massive memory requirements. Can some on advise me what size photos I should be using. My standard photos are real memory hogs, So I know I must reduce them....but I have no idea what standard size I should use.

Screen or print... there's no point in having more pixels than you actually display. So if you are using a typical projector of 1024x768 or 1280x800 size, the display portion in only about 800x600 or even less. So scale them to that EXTERNAL to ppt and drop the scaled version in.

A typical print resolution is 72dpi (dots per inch), same kind of math
