This is an interesting coin, and very tough in higher grades. Very weak strike on the obverse, which is common for this date(though even weaker than normal). The reverse is stronger. The surfaces are nice, and the luster has a full cartwheel on both sides. 1926-S-SLQ-Newp

Wow, huge range in grade guesses so far on this one. From VF-30 to MS-61...lol. It certainly is not a VF coin.

This one wasn't graded, and was purchased as a raw AU. Personally, I think it is at least a very solid AU-55. I don't really see much if any wear on this coin, but the obverse is so weak...it makes it hard to know for sure. I think a TPG would give it a 58....but since these get really expensive in MS grades; not sure they would go for that. It sure looks to have MS or near MS luster though.

I think it grades AU-58. I think the knee has a little bit of wear but the luster is nearly full.

I think AU55 on this one, I almost went MS on it too! It is a tough coin in higher grades and comes softly struck, so a high AU is almost certain, I don't see any wear on the reverse, lots of die polish lines and they don't seem to be disturbed by circulation marks, the obverse is a tough call without the coin in hand I think.
