This an ugly one! I don't know too much about errors but have been searching through some Lincoln cents lately. Could anyone tell me about the rim- not the hit which I guess is PMD but the 'doubling?"- don't know the term, sorry.

Also is the diagonal recess what is know as a lamination peel?

Looks like it spent sometime as an Encased Cent. Now just a damaged cent.
