Questions For those who wish to reply.

If you contact sellers about deliberate or innocent "problem" coin auctions, and/or report listings to ebay.

(1) Do you buy coins on ebay?
(2) Do you sell coins on ebay?
(3) None of the above?

Personally, I have bought and have sold coins on ebay.

Ir really depends on the case, if it's seller who has one coin among there coins that doesn't look right I'll message them and let them know. If it's a seller that is blatantly only selling fakes, I hit report. I do it on a case by case basis, because there are quite a few variables involved i.e. reputation, quantity of fakes, history/feedback etc. Either way I do my best to prevent someone from buying a counterfeit piece, and will report if nothing is done about it.

I have bought/sold on ebay, and try to understand things as leniently as I can regarding counterfeits. But sometimes there are no excuses, for some ebay is there revenue for others it's there feeding ground. Responses from these sellers usually indicates which of the types they're, but as I say there are alot of variables making it a tough call.

Yes, I do contact sellers, and.....

Yes, I buy and sell.

I have 2 ebay accounts, so if I think there might be push-back from a seller, I use my less active, currently non-selling account to make contact.
