To start, though it's at a price that I don't usually shop, ($1099.95) But with the low mintage of 1000 coins, first 1/2 kilo of the RCM, I figured it'll be a nice one - and possibly increase in value. I have one on order. http://www.mint.ca/store/coin/12-ki....U0Mk_vldUYADespite it's 'estimated release date' of May 25th, The mint is Awaiting stock already, but yesterday I got a flyer (email) from Talisman, not only (apparently)in stock, but also reduced in price to $929.95 US$. Congrat's Decadon, for ordering this beauty (this is it looks to me) Share the pictures upon arrival. BTW, Talisman lists the coins in the US dollars, so it appears after conversion less than RCM price. The Platinum coin also listed for bit more affordable price there.

I've been eyeing the coin as well, but I don't know if I should blow that much so soon with summer around the corner. If you purchase the coin from Talisman and it sold out instantly or becomes "hot" it's a 50/50 chance you'll receive your order. The display looks interesting as well. I like everything about this coin. Yes please share pictures if possible.

Nice, Decadon!
Why it took so long time to deliver it? I saw the coin in the Toronto Expo show, it was there side-by-side with snowy owl.
Hard to call them "coins" due to the size. But both very nice looking coins/rounds. In addition, I liked the artwork, pure engraving (just enameled owl's eyes), and not the gimmicks did all the beauty.

I actually had the mint 'hold it' for me. Too many home improvements last month, so needed to delay payment to June.

Oh...thanks for the picture. If the RCM will do the 1oz Silver Proof coin with the same design (and I hope, that this will not happen), it might be extremely popular (like the Bullion "Wolf" and Niobium "Full Wolf Moon").

I'm kind of hoping that they ONLY do an annual 1/2 kilo coin. They killed me with the 'provinces' gold coins - by releasing more than 1 a year, which made it uncollectable (not to mention taxable on 14 kt (not fine) gold.)

Well the latest offering from RCM (November 2014 release) has another 1/2 kilo coin - 'Canadian Horses' 2015. I told myself that if this is an annual issue (1 per year) I would continue ... by releasing another so early (pre-2015) I'm now concerned they have intentions of doing more than 1 per year... in which case, I'm out. Waiting for a reply from my rep.

Waiting for a reply from my rep. If I had a budget to get these coins, I would skip the new one "Canadian Horse". Might be for horses lover, but the coin has nothing special, unlike the "Wolf" has. No such nice detalization, and we've seen so many horses in 2014, to this one just big coin with the horse. Well, that's my opinion, but I do not see reason to spend a money on this.

Hi, could not find this in the search engine. Coins are over priced somewhat but only 1000 mintage and so nice to look at. I have to get rid of a great deal of my collection to get this series. These "coins" have such a large canvas, great details hope the next ones match the details and quality. I ordered the Cougar as well and I hear the 3rd coin will be a Grizzly Bear. The mint says the Cougar should be shipped any day. The horses are supposedly another 3 coin series as well.
