I've been rummaging through my bag of found Indian Head cents to pull the better looking ones when I came across this nice oldie. After removing the caked-on soil I noticed that the reverse has die cracks on the reverse at the 7:00, 11:00, and 1:00 o'clock locations. The 7:00 o'clock die crack meets up to another die crack that runs nearly horizontally across the wreath.

The obverse has a doubling in the letters OF and AM in OF AMERICA, the tips of the feathers, as well what appears to be doubling inside the second digit of the date.

Anyone knows if these are known errors for the year? Thanks!

It sure is. I had been planning to list it for sale, but perhaps I should consider having it slabbed. Details grade, but it would be safer in the holder.

Love the die crack.

Very true!

The die crack at 11:00 o'clock is what first caught my eye. I then took out my loupe for a closer inspection.
