Hello, and best of the day to you.

I'd rather enjoy the coins I have rather than stare at them through a hard plastic barrier. What's the best way to open an ANACS slab?

Regards, Mark

Use a small nail hammer and and strike the slab repeatedly along the edge. ANACS slabs are fairly soft compared to PCGS. If the hammer doesn't work for you, use a fire-axe and cur the top (the part with the label) right off. Then the rest of the slab should come apart easily, using your hands.

I use sheet metal shears to cut all my coins out of slabs. They cut clean and easy and don't damage the coins.
