I have no expertise in the series and am not qualified to venture an opinion on grade ... appears MS-something to me.

Very nice eye-appeal indeed. Has good-quality fields too. Reverse has semi-prooflike devices but the obverse has some chatter. I'd put it at 63.

I'm in at MS63 very frosty reverse too! I'm betting this dime looks way better in hand than in the photo.

In all likelihood it's a die scratch on the reverse which was common on this issue as is the ability to find PL coins. Believe it or not this coin is far scarcer in lower circulated grades.
