Hello Forum Members,

Ive got this (probably Spanish copper coins in my collection) Which I Can't identify.

The shape is rare and some of them have an date on the coin.

One 163? and one 165? . Probably all in 17th century coins. It looks that they all have small stamps in it and they used a few small stamps on a copper round plate.

Wondering what you guys think..

Best regardds,
Vincent

Not too knowledgeable, myself, of these Spanish coins but this link to the coins of Felipe IV will give you some examples and information on the overprinted maravedis of this period:

You may need to use the Google translation feature.

Hope this helps!

these are Maradevis coins from Spain the reason the are odd shaped is because each of these coins were hand struck. now the Maradevis was made in multiple denominations not being an expert in Spanish coins I could not tell you which denomination but I do know that it was made in the denominations 1 2 4 and 8 Maradevis
