I think one could be underestimating how difficult this coin is in this condition. I have a filler coin and I paid more than 100 dollars back then. I am thinking of at least 200 dollars for starters.

To me, it's F or higher. Even in MS it probably wasn't a beauty - but all the details are easily discerned here, so I think VG is a bit low. Lovely coin.

I'd grade it Fine Details (F-12). Looks like several issues are present, including: Environmental Damage, spotting and staining and corrosion.

I found the coin in an old pub in London.....Think it may have been there quite some time.

Hello Moley, Well that is indeed a nice coin. It is also MY coin.... Unfortunately left it with an ipod Nano on February 23d, in Carriage 14, seat 88 Eurostar Brussels-London when moving from Holland to London. I did not leave it in the pub. My fault, but as the coin has great sentimental value for me therefore I'd like it very much back. Just to prove I am the rightful owner I can provide mail exchanges with lost and Found Eurostar in March 2014 describing the coin, as well as the provenance: the coin was bought in 2000 in New York via ebay, from coin dealer Dmitriy (Dima) Markov. It is part of a large collection of large 5 kopeks coppers and overstrikes and as said- for various reasons I am keen to add this to my collection again. Unfortunately you have disabled the possibility to send you a mail, but I do have that possibility. Do get in touch of you read this. Thanks in advance.

moley did not disable his email. That's the default setting (no send/receive) until you've been here a while. moley won't be able to email you even if he does suddenly come back after 8 months and read this.

yep, just found that out. I enabled my email but indeed cannot send. Have no hope he'll get back to me anyway for various reasons, but just wanted to give it a shot as it was an important part of my collection....
