(First of all, do not take this as a complaint; that isn't the purpose of this post).

I have never submitted a custom avatar before, and I was just curious as to how long it takes for it to be activated. I sent mine to Susan on the 30th of March, and so far I haven't seen it show up. Is this a normal time to wait?

When Susan activates the avatar, how do I know? Does it show up in the list of photos under my profile? Since I haven't ever done this before I don't have a clue on where to look, but I have checked the profile photos and it isn't there...

I just want to know how long it takes for an avatar to show up. The time doesn't bother me; if I have to wait two months I'll wait two months.

Any feedback on this would be highly appreciated.

Be patient. Susan has been busy lately. I sent mine to her about a week before you did and mine just showed up. I think now that she has time to do this she will probably get yours up within the next few days.

EDIT*** Although, I am not sure why mine is off center and of such low resolution, I'm sure that I sent a 1000x1000 pixel image

Thanks for the info. I know Susan is very busy with all she has to do, but I just wasn't sure how long one of these things takes. Now that I know, I'll keep quite.

(btw, nice avatar!)

It may depend on how easy or difficult each custom avatar is to create. It may take the same time to produce several fairly easy ones like the square for Rollsearcher37, than it would to produce one scalloped avatar like Solidifier has currently.

If it was 3 months ago I would say the request was lost, send it again.

Yes, I did create the avatar myself, using only simple paint software on my computer.

I wanted something that would stand out; something that was all my own. The image of Lincoln is from a picture I took of one of my deep cameos.
