OK, the 200 rolls came yesterday, but I finally got around to opening them today. I bought 1961-D, 1962-D,1963-D and 1964-D.

In the front are the 200 rolls in boxes. The two tube boxes I have in the background is;

To the Left - rolls of RPM's and DDO's (majority RPM).
To the Right - One of many boxes of tubed rolls of "normal" coins.

Out of the 200 rolls, I got just nine 1961-D. Bummer, but I will take what I get. I ended up with at least six different RPM varieties, and this one is the first.

I tried to match them up on Coppercoins, but the markers aren't a match for any. It looks extremely close to 1961D-1MM-017
D/D/D EAST & TILTED (MDS), WITHOUT the markers.

I have only three of these, and I was able to find only two common markers on each of these images below.

I am going to see if I can categorize these and put them away as I do them.

What do you all think? Is it a 017, other, or possibly new type?

Gary: Did you check 074? That one looks similar.

I really like the reverse image. Great color. The only think I would change is to raise the lower part. Maybe put the coin an a cloth and place a dime under the bottom edge. It will disperse the light so the top and bottom are equal in light. I keep a Quarter and half dollar handy to tip my ramp when I see this on my images.

I wasn't planning on shooting the front and back on these. I just hurried, since the battery was about to die.

As for 074, I thought about it, but the 017 seemed more logical due to the Bar in the middle of the "D" in the 2nd coin picture.

I'll look it over again tomorrow, as I have two more D/D/D to do and about 50 D/D's to categorize. Then its onto another year. Its late and I am going to go rest me weary eyes !

Coop your right on. I was beat yesterday, It was a 0500 to 0300 day, and I wasn't as sharp as normal.

I have at least one more set of 1961-D/D/D RPM's to do

and at least 4 different varieties of 1961-D/D RPM's to do.

One down, like six to go for the 1961-D rolls. Then, its off to another year. = )

NAH, I don't need no stinking extra stuff when I am shotting full pics of the coins. The Sony Cyber-shot 8MP camera and 12.95 Walmart LED desklamp is all.... See ? Hehehehehe

Just have to take me time and I can shoot these all day long = )
