coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 04/13/2014 6:01 pm Sometimes looking at an extreme example of Machine Doubling helps you see the devices reduced from die movement during the strike. Here is one I found yesterday on a cent. It is a real good example: Note on the "O" on ONE is reduced, but the lower part of the device is still visible? That is what is going on with your coin. The lower parts are still there, but the coin devices have been damaged by die movement. Report this Post to the Staff
