The only problem I ever see with such polls is that for some reason kids like to mess up the results. Get 5 kids that puts down 50 or 60 and there goes the statistics.

I AM a millennial!
My 1,000th birthday happened just a few days ago!
Actually, I DID respond to the poll truthfully and correctly, although the answer here is perhaps a little bit tongue in cheek.

As it is, the poll reveals the life of a coin collector:

Under 12, parents and grandparents have instilled an interest in coins.
12-15, interest in coins continues to grow.
15-18, interest lags as sports and puberty are more important.
18-25, part time jobs allow collector to rev up hobby.
25-35, full time jobs and striking out on ones own still allows time to collect.
At least, until marriage, a home and kids slow things down.
35-50, college costs slow things down.
50-65, kids are gone and marriage is routine, TV is lousy and coins are rediscovered.
65+, time to buy the coins that one has always wanted!

Sound about right?

Sounds about right,
except in my case, I bought quite a few gold coins in the 15-30 age bracket. I sold those ones to help raise money for our first house, when we married.

You can't put a roof over your head with a stack of rare coins!

I'd much rather see this stick to the one original thread as linked above.
