Can I ask, how does one discover when a changeover (or replacement) occurs? Is there a source from BoC that tells you? It's otherwise impossible to guess based just on the numbers.

I have the same question? Anyone else...My only answer is that we know only by the help and teamwork of PaperMoney collecters- who "Bundle" or Brick to find partial answers..Do these "Brickers" have to pay like a 10.oo premimum to look at banks money or where do they look? What do they do?Is a changeover mean a Signatory has Changed..?

A changeover occurs when the signatories change during a production run of the same prefix A/E.....IIRC ...for example, most $1000 bills are changeovers because of low production over a number of years, therefore the signatories are likely to change during the span of that printing run.
