So I found, amidst a quarters box, a roll of 2013 White Mountain National Forest quarters from the day of release stamped by the dedication station in Campton, NH on Feb. 21. Clearly, this was a collection piece at one point. I was wondering, aside from how it ended up in there, if there is a secondary market for these rolls.
Rest in Peace

Yes, they're for sale, but if you sort by "sold" none have actually sold. I'd stash them for a couple of decades and wait and see what happens. Worst case scenario, you pass them to your children or other family members and make them filthy rich later or cash them in and get your $10 back! Just my .02 ;-)

Thanks for the info, guys.

How common is it to find a collector's roll in a box like that? You wouldn't think they would put those in there.

Good question.

I would have thought that it would never happen....but then... after being on this site for a few years, I have learned that it happens often enough to keep me hunting.

Collectors pass on to that big coin shop in the sky and if the kids can't sell the stuff -- it goes back into circulation.
