Is This Coin Been Cleaned? And What Is The Grade? Thanks

sweep New Member United Kingdom 18 Posts	Posted 04/20/2014 12:21 pm Hi I bought a 1848/7 Victorian penny, it doesn't look cleaned to me but I have no experience. I was wondering if anyone can look on the listing and use the zoom feature and see if there is any signs of cleaning. Thanks. Though you may want to do something about the greenish crust forming around the date and some of the lettering (not my area of expertise, so ask around). I'd grade this one at near-EF. It's hard to find these large copper pennies without dented or beaten up rims, so I think you did quite well here. Report this Post to the Staff
