1976 nickel dollar, in a mint set still sealed in the cellophane. Very heavy doubling on the date, and on a few letters on the word DOLLAR and on some of the denticles as well. Would this be more valuable on it's own or could I get more for it keeping it in the set?

Lower Canada Auctions sold a few dates of double date PL sets a year or two ago. I think the auction included a 76 as I recall they each sold for something around $50. I would leave it in the film. I suspect that there is not a deep market for these.

chadcoins, yours is a different kind of doubling - that is flat field doubling. Probably the best example I have seen for that year...

@SPP-Ottawa I have it listed on ebay right now, but I seem to remember seeing something on the site here about not being able to advertise my sales here until I have at least 50 posts, so I'm not sure what to do...
