My son and I attended the Anderson, IN coin show this weekend. Had a good time with my boy and we had a good time hunting through boxes and bins.
I walked away with what I felt were two *REALLY* good deals. First I picked up 4 great type pieces for my 7070. I struck up a conversation with the guy I bought these off of, after talking for a while he gave a good bundle price on these 4, certainly didn't pay the price he had on the flips. He also told he'd be willing to sell to me at wholesale if I wanted to try to make some money to pay for my hobby. Over all a really great guy to talk with.

Next I found these 5 Quarters. All but the toned quarter will be going into my Dansco 8140. They dealer here gave me a more than half off the prices marked for all of them together. Felt pretty good about the deal.

I purchased the toned quarter just because I liked the toning on it. Lo and behold, PJ now has a small start to a Toned
Washington quarter collection

Over all we had a good time. I bough a bunch of small stuff for my son. He was having a great time, it was our second year going. All the folks there *Love* seeing him there, they think its cool that he's into it. It was funny to see what grabbed his attention. I let him dig through a bunch of unc
State Quarters to find the last 5 that he needed for his circulated set and now he's finished with that one and ready to move on. He thinks he wants to do
Ike dollars next. He also found a Kennedy proof that he liked for a great price. One of the funnier purchases was a Lincoln token that he found that was in a bin for $5, he asked the dealer if he'd be willing to go a little lower on it and the guy said sure, for you $1

Then he found a bin of world coins that he really liked and each coin he picked out the guy would just end up telling him to put it in his pocket. It was fun watching him have fun with it. He also had a dealer give him an arrow head and a fossil...
Anyway, figured I'd share the weekend's activities.
